What is the Free ISO Certification Scheme?
The Free ISO Certification Scheme is only available throughout the UK from IMS Certification which has exclusively rights to this unique Scheme, which has been launched to coincide with the ‘World Standards Day’ on October 14th 2007. This promotion and celebration of World Standards is now planned to be a regular annual event.
Essentially, companies can benefit from a 100% Certification Grant that enables them to save £000s. The Scheme is fully Grant funded and is available for any of the four key Management Standards:
ISO 9001 - Quality Management Systems
ISO 14001 - Environmental Management Systems
OHSAS 18001 - Health & Safety Management Systems
ISO 27001 - Information Security Management Systems
This Scheme is also available through a number of National IMS Partners.
Why has the Free ISO Certification Scheme been introduced?
The Free ISO Certification Scheme has been developed to improve the competitiveness of the UK economy compared with our other key competitors. There is a proven link between those economies that are undergoing rapid development and the levels of certification within their ‘SME’ (Small to Medium sized Enterprises) base.
It is no surprise that China has the world’s highest number of ISO 9001 certifications.
This Scheme in the UK is targeted specially at the 3.7 Million UK SMEs.
Who can apply for the Free ISO Certification Scheme?
Any UK trading company can apply for this Scheme including ‘Manufacturing’ and ‘Non-Manufacturing’ businesses as well as the ‘Not-for-Profit sector.’ The Scheme also applies to ‘New Start-Up’ businesses.
How is the Free ISO Certification Scheme fully Grant funded?
IMS has successfully secured this Grant funding from its international beneficiaries. This Grant Funding is not available to any other UK Certification Body.
Will my company save £000’s off ISO Certification?
Yes, all eligible companies will save £000’s as they do not pay a Certification Fee.
What do we have to pay for?
Companies only pay for their annual Audit Fee which is inclusive of our ‘Gold Support Package’. This ensures that there are no hidden charges if the ISO Standards are revised. Furthermore, companies also receive a new Management System each year. To use a motor insurance ‘analogy’, this Scheme is like ‘Comprehensive Cover’ for your company’s certification needs.
